00 11 16 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") will receive sealed bids prior to the date and time stated for the Bid Opening for: Three Modular Classrooms for Tahoe Lake Elementary School 375 Grove St, Tahoe City, CA 96145 as per bid documents. Electronic copies may be obtained by contacting Rose Green of TTUSD at (530) 582-2540 or Email Me after March 9, 2021. Bids will be received at District Office of the Owner at 11603 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, California 96161, on March 31, 2021, before 2:00 p.m. on the clock designated by the Owner as the bid clock. The bid package description shall be stated on the outside of the envelope. Facsimile (FAX) copies of the bid will not be accepted. Bids will be accepted via mail through the U.S. Postal Service or another carrier. If a bid is submitted via mail, the bidder must notify Rose Green in advance and address the bid package to Rose Green at 11603 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, California 96161 with a "Signature Required Upon Receipt". District takes no responsibility for the timeliness of mailed submittals. Bids will be opened immediately following the receipt of bids. Bid Package: Three Modular Classrooms for Tahoe Lake Elementary School Engineers Estimate: $943,000 MANDATORY Pre-Bid Walk: No Pre-Qualification Required: Yes The lowest bid shall be determined based on the value of the base bid plus all alternates. The Project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. No contractor or subcontractor shall be qualified to submit a bid or to be listed in a bid proposal subject to the requirements of Public Contract Code section 4104 or be qualified to enter into or engage in the performance of any contract unless currently registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5. General Contractors and first tier electrical, mechanical, and plumbing subcontractors must be pre-qualified per Public Contract Code 20111.6.
