Douglas County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Public Hearing Notice A Zoom meeting of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will be held on October 1, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Douglas County is actively monitoring and managing the COVID-19 level of risk in our community by closing public offices to minimize contact among individuals and to slow the spread of COVID-19. The Board of County Commissioners will be conducting a digital meeting to reduce social gatherings and interpersonal contact. In adherence to Governor Sisolak's Declaration of Emergency set out in Section 3 of Directive 026 on public meetings, as of this publishing, there will be no physical location designated for this meeting. The public will be able to participate in the meeting by watching the livestream on YouTube. You can call in with public comment during the appropriate times. The application(s) below will be considered under the Public Hearing portion of the meeting. Governor Sisolak may update/change his directive at any time and the style of the meeting may change. Discussion on a Tentative Subdivision Map to create 54 total parcels, with 51 single family attached parcels and 3 common area parcels ranging in size from 963 square feet to 28,750 square feet. The project site is located on 4.24 acres on the west side of Gilman Avenue at the intersection with Chichester Drive and is within the Gardnerville Community Plan. Discussion on a Tentative Subdivision Map to create 17 industrial parcels ranging in size from approximately 1.9 acres to 2.2 acres and discussion on a roadway easement abandonment on the north side of Lot 16, approximately 50 feet wide and 455 feet long, which is also proposed as part of this application.
